Spend a day working alongside artist Adrian Dutton and his team from London Life Drawing to explore the essential role the Parthenon sculptures played in inspiring Auguste Rodin's work.

During this day-long workshop, immerse yourself in the French sculptor’s art. After an introduction, you will begin the day by drawing directly from the Parthenon sculptures as Rodin would have done when he visited the Museum.

In the afternoon, you will learn about Rodin's practices and techniques by studying two life models and developing central themes of his sculpture in your life drawing.

Finally, you will end the day in a private opening of the five-star exhibition Rodin and the art of ancient Greece. There, you will draw Rodin’s iconic sculptures, including The Kiss, The Thinker and The Age of Bronze.

By the end of the day, you will have experienced Rodin’s art in a radical new way. Your creations will reflect the magnificent sculpture of a modern master and the ancient world that shaped his artistic vision.
